To start, being a performer is quite hard when you grew up in an environment where the complete opposite of what you’re used doing. Before, in the normal daytime job, totally I have no idea about live entertainment. But I think when singing/performing is in your blood, eventually you would end up doing what you really want to do. Hence, one thing I have learned in this field is that you can’t please everybody with all of the negative things being thrown to you. All you can rely on are the following:
First – Your talent. When you have it, no one can put you down.
Second – Your family and friends. In spite of all the things you acquire, they will keep you grounded.
Third – God. If it wasn’t for the talent that He lend us, we’re nothing.
